  • Provided for children under 4  
     

CENTER FOR HOPE & SAFETY  - 4646 Portland Rd NE Salem

  • Team Leader: NEEDED

  • Putting together shelves & moving around donations to prep for their new shelter
     

CITY OF SALEM PARKS               

  • Team Leaders: John and Bethany Crespin        

  • Outdoor work-more details as we get closer, bring water, gloves & garden tools

  • WAIVER to be completed on site
     

CONNECTIONS 365  -4890 32nd Ave SE Salem.

  • Team Leader: NEEDED

  • Need at least 3 people with weed eaters. Will be cleaning gardens, hauling branches, etc. Plan to bring garden tools.

  • Indoors-cleaning and organizing clothes closet and storage area; deep cleaning

  • Outdoors-spread bark dust, blow off back & front porch

  • Kids are welcome as well. 
     

GUBSER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL –6610 14th Ave NE, Keizer, OR 97303  

  • Team Leader:  David Baumer

  • Work: Outside pressure washing, pick up grounds, weeding, painting benches, leaf blowing

  • Bring power washer, trowels, hoes, rakes, shovels, gloves, brooms, leaf blower

  • # of slots: 15
     

LIBERTY HOUSE  -  385 Taylor St NE, Salem  

  • Team Leaders: Jonathan and Angela Rodman

  • Work: Weeding, raking, general garden work

  • Bring: Gloves, buckets, hand tools

MUSIC BOX ANGELS - 3857 Wolverine St NE 

  • Team Leader: Ed and Bonnie Cushamn

  • Deliver music boxes to recipients. A driver and passenger team for 2 deliveries each.
     

NORTH SALEM HIGH SCHOOL - 765 14th St NE

  • Team Leaders:  Randy and Tina Bartsch

  • Project #1:  Grounds work around the stadium

  • Project #2: Serving a fundraiser  BBQ for the football scrimmage

  • Project #3: Indoor work- helping the custodial staff
     

RESTORE - Habitat for Humanity  -1249 13th St SE, Salem

  • Work:  Organizing, merchandising and special tasks
     

ROBERTS MIDDLE SCHOOL - 1115 Commercial St NE, Salem

  • Work: redo their Staff Room & one other project TBD
     

SALEM FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH  

  • Team Leader: Steve Houser   

  • Work:  Pruning, refreshing flowerbeds, raking bark, planting new plants in bare areas           
     

UGM THRIFT STORE--  885 Commercial St NE, Salem

  • Team Leader:  Sherrill Kohl 

  • Work Indoors: Painting, sorting, cleaning, hanging items

  • Waivers required, complete upon arrival

 

Church for the City t-shirts will be available for ordering for everyone who signs up before July 28, $10 each.  Youth sizes S, M, L  Adult sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL
