CORE VALUES
Upward
We believe that worship is for God and to God alone. Therefore, our emphasis is on singing songs that direct our attention upward to Him. (Psalm 22:3; Psalm 33:1-2; Psalm 50:23; Psalm 145).
Inward
We believe worship that exalts God brings an inward blessing to His people, drawing them closer to Him as they sing “psalms, hymns and spiritual songs” (Colossians 3:16). Therefore, our emphasis is on singing songs with lyrics full of the promises and transforming truths found in Scripture. (Psalm 135:3; Psalm 147:1; Ephesians 5:19-20)
Outward
We believe worship that exalts God, that blesses Him and His people, will have a positive outward effect on those who come into our fellowship who are investigating the claims of Christ. Therefore, our emphasis will be on music and production that is God-honoring and culturally relevant (Psalm 40:3; 1 Corinthians 14:24-25).
